Country Manager – Sierra Leone & Liberia

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Country Manager to lead our operations and business development across Sierra Leone and Liberia. In this strategic position you will act as the bridge between high‑level corporate strategy and local execution, overseeing large‑scale telecom ESCO projects and driving growth in the region.
Key responsibilities
- Drive local business transformation initiatives and adapt corporate strategies to market needs.
- Identify and secure new commercial opportunities, strategic partnerships, and revenue streams.
- Lead cross‑functional teams to deliver energy and telecom projects on time, within scope and budget.
- Oversee regional P&L, financial reporting, and vendor contract management.
- Build and maintain trust‑based relationships with clients, regulators and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, data protection regulations and industry standards.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Telecommunications or related field; MBA highly desirable.
- Minimum 12 years of senior leadership or country management experience.
- Proven track record managing large‑scale energy and telecom projects, especially Telecom ESCO initiatives.
- Deep knowledge of the Sierra Leone and Liberia markets, including customer needs and competitive landscape.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
