About the role
The Field Finance Coordinator ensures timely and accurate processing of financial transactions for partner CSOs, strengthens compliance with Global Fund and World Vision guidelines, and builds financial capacity within the field network.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct periodic financial monitoring visits to each partner CSO to verify compliance with donor policies and local regulations.
- Oversee operational expense transactions (utilities, repairs, fuel) and maintain proper documentation.
- Facilitate and verify fund disbursement records in line with Global Fund and World Vision standards.
- Provide on‑site finance training focused on budgeting, record‑keeping, and compliance.
- Monitor budget utilization, identify variances, and support internal controls.
- Assist CSOs in preparing monthly financial reports that meet donor reporting requirements.
- Perform risk assessments and implement corrective internal controls.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or ACCA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management, grant oversight, or compliance, preferably within NGOs or donor‑funded projects.
- Familiarity with Global Fund financial guidelines and donor‑funded program requirements.
- Proven track record in financial monitoring, budget management, and capacity‑building initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills with experience delivering on‑site training.
