Programme Admin Support Officer

About the role

The Programme Admin Support Officer (PASO) will provide essential administrative and logistical support to Trócaire’s partner programmes in Sierra Leone. Based in Freetown and travelling regularly to district offices, the PASO ensures smooth day‑to‑day operations and contributes to the visibility of the country office.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, administer and file partner project documents in hard copy and in Salesforce.
• Set up and maintain partner projects on the Salesforce platform.
• Assist in the preparation of paperwork required for partner grant transfers.
• Support programme staff during field activities, including logistics, and manage the raising and liquidation of float requisitions.
• Organise and host workshops, meetings, donor visits and events.
• Act as the country office Communications Focal for headquarters, supporting the development of case studies and visibility materials.

Required profile

• Experience in administrative support within an NGO or development context.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly to district locations.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with the capacity to work under matrix management.
