Infrastructure Maintenance & Projects Superintendent (Mining)

About the role

The Infrastructure Maintenance and Projects Superintendent will lead the upkeep of all site infrastructure and deliver minor capital projects throughout the construction, commissioning and operational phases of the Greenfield gold mine. This role ensures that roads, buildings, camp facilities, water and power systems, and civil structures are maintained to high standards to support safe and reliable mining operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance plans for roads, buildings, camp facilities, water and sewage treatment, and power distribution.
• Coordinate and schedule infrastructure maintenance activities, prioritising work based on risk and criticality.
• Manage minor capital and infrastructure projects, controlling scope, budget and schedule.
• Oversee civil inspections of the tailings storage facility, haul roads, drainage and erosion control structures.
• Supervise operation and maintenance of water treatment and sewage facilities, as well as power reticulation and backup generation.
• Maintain the infrastructure asset register and associated documentation.
• Prepare and monitor the annual infrastructure maintenance and projects budget.
• Ensure contractor performance, cost control and compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in infrastructure maintenance and project delivery within a mining or heavy‑industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of civil structures, water and power systems, and related regulatory requirements.
• Ability to develop maintenance plans, manage budgets and coordinate multiple contractors.
• Commitment to Zero Harm principles and continuous improvement.
