Digital Media Intern – Sierra Leone

About the role

The Digital Media Intern will support UNDP Sierra Leone’s communications team in creating and managing digital content that raises the visibility of UNDP programmes and engages audiences across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing, implementing and monitoring digital media content to enhance UNDP’s visibility and engagement in Sierra Leone.
• Support the implementation of the Communications strategy, Annual Communications Plan and related KPIs.
• Contribute to the creation of stories, op‑eds, talking points, press releases and social‑media posts.
• Synthesise information from programme teams to produce clear communication materials.
• Help prepare presentations, decks, pitches, toolkits and process documents.
• Maintain dashboards and meeting calendars for the Communications Unit.
• Support the curation and organization of digital assets.

Required profile

• Interest in digital media, communications and development topics.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
