About the role

The Freelance Verifier role is a full‑time, hybrid position based in Freetown with some tasks that can be completed from home. The verifier reviews and validates documents, records, or data entries for accuracy and completeness, following clear guidelines and checklists.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate documents, records, or data entries for accuracy and completeness.
• Cross‑check information against source materials and identify inconsistencies or missing details.
• Escalate issues when necessary and maintain organized records of verification activities.
• Prepare concise summaries or reports of verification findings.
• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines.
• Adhere to confidentiality standards and organizational policies.
• Communicate proactively about progress and potential risks.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Solid organizational and time‑management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
• Comfort with basic digital tools and office software, including spreadsheets, databases, and online document systems.
• Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and respect for confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid team environment.
• Prior experience in data entry, quality assurance, compliance, auditing, or verification is an advantage.
