About the role
The Communications Unit at UNDP Sierra Leone is seeking a motivated Communications Intern to support the implementation of its communications strategy and annual plan. Working closely with the Communications Specialist, the intern will help create high‑quality content that showcases UNDP’s development impact.
Key responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of UNDP Sierra Leone’s communications strategy, annual plan and KPIs.
- Assist in creating content for stories, op‑eds, talking points, press releases and social‑media posts.
- Synthesize information from programme teams to produce clear and compelling messages.
- Prepare presentations, decks, pitches, toolkits and other process documents.
- Maintain communication dashboards and manage the unit’s meeting calendar.
