User Growth Regional Lead

About the role

Wave is looking for a User Growth Regional Lead to drive the expansion of its cashless financial services across Sierra Leone. You will lead field‑based distribution teams, recruit new users, and ensure active usage of Wave’s wallet for money transfers and bill payments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage supervisors and team leads who oversee field distributors responsible for user acquisition.
• Identify and remove blockers to user growth and maintain high active‑usage rates.
• Design and execute retention strategies for newly acquired users.
• Hire, train, and scale distribution team members to meet quarterly growth targets.
• Use data analytics to shape distribution tactics and monitor team performance.
• Collaborate with the agency team to align objectives and operationalise strategies.
• Contribute insights to Wave’s overall distribution strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading distribution or sales teams in emerging markets.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable plans.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to relocate within Sierra Leone and work on‑site.
• Legal work authorization for Sierra Leone.
