YouTube Strategist (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a data‑driven YouTube Strategist to own and scale our channel presence. Working remotely, you will shape the end‑to‑end video content pipeline, from audience research to post‑publish performance analysis, driving brand awareness and measurable business results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute long‑term YouTube content strategies aligned with business goals.
• Conduct audience and competitor research to identify high‑value topics.
• Guide creative teams on titles, thumbnails, descriptions, and tags to maximize click‑through rates.
• Monitor key metrics (watch time, retention, subscriber growth) using YouTube Studio and translate insights into actionable improvements.
• Maintain an editorial calendar and streamline production workflows.
• Collaborate with social, paid, and product marketing teams to integrate video content across channels.
• Identify and pursue monetization opportunities such as sponsorships and merchandise.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record of growing YouTube channels, supported by a portfolio or case studies.
• Deep, up‑to‑date knowledge of the YouTube algorithm, SEO best practices, and community guidelines.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret YouTube Analytics data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for briefing and feedback.
