Finance and Compliance Coordinator

About the role

The Finance and Compliance Coordinator will oversee the NAVISION accounting system, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support compliance with donor and internal requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the use and optimisation of the NAVISION accounting system, validate transactions, and reconcile accounts.
• Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, cash‑flow reports and donor financial reports, analysing variances and risks.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of donor requirements and internal procedures, support internal and external audits, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead monthly, semi‑annual and annual closing processes, monitor cash‑flow needs, and prepare project fund requests.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency of financial operations.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in accounting, finance, reporting or compliance, preferably in NGOs or donor‑funded projects.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and capacity to meet reporting deadlines.
• Excellent written and spoken English and French.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics NAV / NAVISION (or similar ERP systems).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
