About the role
The Gender, Child Protection, and Safeguarding Programme Manager leads the design, implementation and monitoring of national strategies that address violence against children, gender equality, social inclusion and accountable GIK (Goods‑in‑Kind) management. This role ensures that child participation and GESI principles are embedded across all programmes and that safeguarding standards are consistently applied.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design, review and implementation of national strategies on child protection, gender equality, safeguarding and GIK management.
- Integrate Child Protection, Safeguarding, GESI and GIK management into the National Office strategy.
- Develop multi‑sectoral action plans that address root causes of violence, exclusion and inequality.
- Provide technical leadership for interventions based on robust context and root‑cause analyses.
- Ensure compliance with national legislation and international standards for child protection and safeguarding.
- Oversee programme implementation, budgets, timelines and quality standards.
- Coordinate safeguarding incident reporting and management in line with World Vision protocols.
- Lead capacity‑building initiatives for staff, partners, contractors and volunteers.
