Infrastructure Project Manager

About the role

The Infrastructure Project Manager will lead the planning, design, construction, and commissioning of healthcare facilities and WASH systems in Kono District, Sierra Leone. Reporting to the Infrastructure Lead, the role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and technical oversight for all infrastructure projects, from concept to hand‑over.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, civil, structural, MEP, biomedical, and environmental health engineers.
• Manage procurement, construction supervision, testing, commissioning, and operational sustainability.
• Serve as primary liaison with government ministries, donors, consultants, contractors, and community stakeholders.
• Oversee budget management, reporting, and quality assurance activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale construction or infrastructure projects, preferably in the health sector.
• Strong understanding of building construction, water supply, wastewater treatment, sanitation, and storm‑water systems.
• Ability to mentor and supervise project staff and foster stakeholder collaboration.
