Supply Chain Coordinator

About the role

The Supply Chain Coordinator will manage procurement and supply chain activities in line with World Vision policies, ensuring timely, cost‑effective acquisition of goods and services to support programme and operational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Understand department business requirements and advise internal customers on modifications.
• Identify alternative supply sources, work with Logistics for safe delivery, and resolve delivery conflicts.
• Execute market assessments, supplier pre‑qualification, RFQ/RFP processes, and lead negotiations for assigned categories.
• Prepare procurement committee documents, facilitate meetings, and ensure comprehensive documentation.
• Manage supplier contracts, monitor performance, and handle renewals or retenders.
• Process purchase requisitions, award decisions, PO changes, and coordinate supplier payments.
• Collect and analyse data for spend analysis, performance reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, conduct risk assessments, and implement audit recommendations.
• Provide training and capacity building for staff, partners, and sub‑grantees on procurement policies and systems.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Procurement or a related field, or equivalent experience (intermediate CIPS).
• Minimum 3 years of procurement or supply chain experience at a supervisory level, preferably within an international NGO.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time.

Required skills

• Knowledge of World Vision procurement policies and procedures.
• Experience with strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract administration.
• Ability to conduct market assessments, spend analysis, and risk assessments.
