Video Game Composer – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a visionary Video Game Composer to create dynamic, immersive scores that define the sonic identity of our upcoming titles. Working remotely, you will collaborate with narrative designers, producers, and sound designers to ensure the music enhances gameplay and storytelling.

Key responsibilities

• Compose and produce original high‑quality musical scores ranging from ambient environments to intense combat themes.
• Develop interactive and adaptive music layers that react to player actions and in‑game events.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to align music with the game’s mood, pacing, and narrative.
• Integrate musical assets into game engines and audio middleware (Wwise, FMOD) ensuring seamless loops and transitions.
• Iterate quickly on musical ideas based on feedback and playtesting.
• Maintain organized asset libraries, exporting and labeling files according to technical specifications.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional experience composing music for video games with a strong, diverse portfolio.
• Fully equipped home studio capable of delivering studio‑standard audio.
• Excellent communication skills for virtual collaboration and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Digital Audio Workstations such as Logic Pro, Cubase, Ableton, or Pro Tools.
• Experience integrating music using Wwise or FMOD.
• Familiarity with Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Deep knowledge of music theory, orchestration, arrangement, and high‑quality virtual instrument libraries.
