PME Coordinator – Global Fund Program

About the role

The PME Coordinator will support a learning culture within the Global Fund program, ensuring high‑quality data collection, analysis and reporting across malaria, HIV and TB initiatives. This fixed‑term position contributes to a three‑year, $21 million grant aimed at improving health outcomes for vulnerable children.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate data collection, aggregation and analysis for disease programs at district and national levels.
• Implement and oversee data quality assurance mechanisms to prevent M&E fraud and ensure completeness, timeliness and accuracy.
• Develop programme accountability processes, including stakeholder consultation, complaints handling and feedback loops.
• Prepare periodic district‑level reports for each Global Fund component and support their review and submission.
• Mentor staff and sub‑grantees on monitoring systems, providing coaching and troubleshooting.
• Design and roll out improvement plans for data quality, reporting completeness and timeliness.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years progressive experience in monitoring and evaluation within the public health sector.
• Strong epidemiological literacy and experience with disease surveillance.
• Experience coordinating M&E activities for health programs.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital health systems, specifically DHIS2.
