PME Coordinator – Global Fund Program

About the role

The PME Coordinator will foster a learning culture within the Global Fund program, ensuring data-driven decision‑making across malaria, HIV, and TB initiatives. This role supports a three‑year, $21 million grant and works closely with the Ministry of Health and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate collection, aggregation, and analysis of programmatic data for monitoring across disease programs.
• Implement data management processes to generate district‑level reports for national review and Global Fund submission.
• Conduct routine data quality assurance, including internal audits, to prevent M&E fraud.
• Establish accountability mechanisms that incorporate participant feedback and complaints.
• Support regular sub‑national data analyses to inform planning and program decisions.
• Compile periodic district reports for each Global Fund component and facilitate their review.
• Guide staff and sub‑grantees in resolving monitoring system issues through mentorship and coaching.
• Develop and roll out improvement plans for data quality, reporting completeness, and timeliness.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in monitoring and evaluation within the public health sector.
• Strong epidemiological literacy and experience with disease surveillance.
• Experience coordinating M&E activities in public health programs.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital health systems, specifically DHIS2.
