Senior Manager (Project Lead) – Faith and Community Initiative

About the role

World Vision is seeking a Senior Manager (Project Lead) for its Faith and Community Initiative (FCI) in Sierra Leone. The role provides overall in‑country leadership and management of the FCI program, ensuring high‑quality, timely, and compliant delivery aligned with the global strategy. The incumbent will serve as the primary point of contact with the U.S. Embassy, government, and faith‑based partners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and management of the FCI country program, achieving goals, objectives, and results in a cost‑effective manner.
• Lead country‑level planning, adapting global guidelines to the local context and translating them into work plans and performance targets.
• Implement global strategy, standards, and donor guidelines, ensuring technical quality and compliance.
• Uphold the 80/20 efficiency commitment and drive transition and sustainability toward government and faith‑based ownership.
• Serve as principal in‑country liaison with the U.S. Embassy, Ministry of Health, Christian Health Association, faith‑based organizations, and other key stakeholders.
• Oversee the FCI budget and coordinate with the Technical Manager and MEL Manager for technical depth.

Required profile

• Significant experience in leading integrated health programs (HIV, TB, malaria, MCH, nutrition) in low‑resource settings.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑disciplinary teams and budgets.
• Strong knowledge of government and faith‑based partnership models and transition processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
