About the role
Wave is looking for a proactive Business Development Manager to drive partnership growth in Sierra Leone. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will act as the bridge between external organisations and Wave’s internal teams, helping to scale our financial services across the market.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, acquire and manage partnerships with central banks, banks, micro‑finance institutions, telecom operators, remittance providers and key businesses.
- Maintain relationships with all external stakeholders and ensure service level agreements are met.
- Produce regular performance reports and presentations for partners and internal teams.
- Facilitate communication between partners and Wave’s product, finance, distribution, compliance and legal departments.
- Adapt partnership strategy as Wave’s product roadmap evolves.
Required profile
- Resourceful, organised and proactive with a strong ability to get things done.
- Excellent research skills and a solid network within the financial ecosystem.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities across multiple functions.
