Information Management and Data Analyst (Tier 0‑2)

About the role

The United Nations Development Programme in Sierra Leone is seeking an Information Management and Data Analyst to support the Spotlight Initiative 2.0. The analyst will coordinate data flows across UNDP, UNICEF, UNFPA and UN Women, strengthen information management systems and ensure evidence‑based, measurable interventions to combat violence against women and girls.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement information strategies, governance frameworks and shared repositories, ensuring compliance with UN data protection and privacy standards.
• Map and analyse actors and service pathways related to violence against women and girls, identify gaps and produce recommendations to improve multi‑sectoral response.
• Track key performance indicators, conduct data quality assessments and harmonise reporting templates across partners.
• Design user‑friendly visualisations such as dashboards, fact sheets, infographics and maps to communicate programme trends and impact.
• Provide technical assistance and capacity‑building to implementing partners on data collection, management and ethical reporting.

Required profile

• Demonstrated expertise in data harmonisation, information systems and multi‑partner data coordination.
• Experience in mapping service providers, analysing secondary data and producing evidence‑based recommendations.
• Ability to prepare concise updates for programme governance bodies and support knowledge‑management processes.
