ANP Surveyor

About the role

The Acute Needs Program (ANP) Surveyor works in the Kono district of Sierra Leone to assess and document the acute health needs of community members. Reporting to the ANP Officer, the Surveyor acts as a liaison between clients, program staff, and health committees, ensuring accurate data collection and patient advocacy.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date records of households surveyed under the ANP home survey.
• Collect patient names, addresses, and relevant information from the ANP Program Officer.
• Learn and apply the assessment tool objectively, providing feedback on its use and process.
• Create a weekly schedule with the ANP Officer to complete assessments across all 14 chiefdoms.
• Advocate for patients with the ANP Officer and committee members.
• Uphold client confidentiality and adhere to PIH policies, including no acceptance of gifts or payments.

Required profile

• Strong communication and advocacy skills.
• Highly organized, motivated, reliable, and passionate about patient care.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Education: BECCE (WASSCE preferred).
• Fluent in Kono, Krio, and English.
• Problem‑solver, creative thinker, and flexible.
