Customer Service Specialist French Speaker (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual French‑English Customer Service Specialist to join our remote call‑center team supporting an online travel booking platform. The role involves handling inbound and outbound calls, managing cases, and providing first‑level assistance to homeowners and travelers.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound and make outbound customer service calls, managing multiple cases simultaneously.
• Act as the first point of contact for homeowners using the booking platform, handling modifications, cancellations, deposit claims and escalations.
• Log, classify and follow up on all interactions, maintaining accurate call histories and resolution records.
• Analyze call data, share customer feedback and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on platform and process changes and collaborate with internal and external teams through clear documentation.

Required profile

• Professional‑level French (C2) and fluent English.
• Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a call‑center or online travel environment.
• Ability to multitask between live calls and case handling while maintaining composure under pressure.
• Solid computer literacy and experience working online.

Required skills

• Zendesk or similar ticketing platform.
• Slack for team collaboration.
• Salesforce and standard office tools.
• Windows 11 or macOS 14+ operating system.
• Stable broadband internet connection and USB headset.
