Finance & Accounts Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance & Accounts Manager to lead the finance function for our operations in Sierra Leone. The role combines hands‑on day‑to‑day financial management with strategic reporting and compliance responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily finance and accounting operations, including AP, AR, general ledger, bank reconciliations and inter‑company transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, management MIS and variance analysis.
• Drive cash‑flow, working‑capital and treasury activities, and oversee budgeting, forecasting and business planning.
• Ensure compliance with local tax, statutory, accounting and regulatory requirements; coordinate audits and liaise with external stakeholders.
• Maintain strong financial controls, processes and accounting policies.
• Support commercial and operational teams with financial analysis, contract review and decision‑making.
• Collaborate with regional and corporate finance teams on consolidation and financial planning.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of finance and accounting experience, preferably in Energy, Mobility, Automotive, Manufacturing or related sectors.
• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA or MBA Finance.
• Experience working in Africa or other emerging markets is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting systems/ERP.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
