About the role
NTU International is preparing a proposal for the “Support to the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme – AESPP Boost,” which aims to strengthen cooperation between Africa and the EU in the space sector. The organisation seeks a highly qualified Non‑Key Expert to integrate gender equality and social inclusion considerations across programme activities, ensuring inclusive participation and equitable access to opportunities generated through Africa‑EU space cooperation.
Key responsibilities
- Integrate gender equality and social inclusion considerations systematically across all programme activities.
- Design and apply gender‑responsive approaches in donor‑funded programmes, including gender analysis, sex‑disaggregated indicators, and inclusive stakeholder participation.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in gender studies, social sciences, development studies or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in gender equality, social inclusion or inclusive development in international cooperation.
- At least 4 years of experience designing gender‑responsive approaches in donor‑funded programmes, with familiarity of EU external‑action gender policy considered an asset.
- Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
