Instrumentation & Control Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

As an Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Maintenance Supervisor you will lead and coordinate the maintenance, troubleshooting and optimisation of the plant’s instrumentation, control, automation and Distributed Control System (DCS) infrastructure. You will provide technical leadership to I&C engineers and technicians to ensure safe, reliable and efficient plant operation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on plant instrumentation and control systems according to established plans.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty I&C equipment, diagnose system faults and coordinate corrective actions.
• Support the optimisation and continuous improvement of instrumentation, automation and DCS infrastructure.
• Supervise I&C engineers and technicians, coordinate daily maintenance activities and ensure work follows priorities and schedules.
• Assist maintenance planning, resource coordination and execution while ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental (HSE) requirements and the Permit‑to‑Work system.
• Use the computerized plant maintenance management system to log faults, document work, request materials and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor recurring equipment issues and contribute to reliability improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation & Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in instrumentation & control, automation or controls maintenance within power generation or industrial plants.
