M&E Officer – TB Outreach Project

About the role

The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer will lead daily monitoring, evaluation, data management and reporting activities for the TB Outreach Project in Kono District, Sierra Leone. Working under the Health Statistics Manager, the officer will ensure high‑quality data supports program management, donor reporting and clinical decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Capture and report TB screening and diagnosis data from the mobile TB screening unit using the TB Hunter electronic system.
• Validate routine data, provide feedback to service providers and ensure data quality compliance.
• Track referrals and document treatment outcomes across the TB continuum of care.
• Implement data quality assurance activities and disseminate insights to stakeholders.
• Assist in scheduling, coordination with partners, and preparation of donor program reports.
• Support the revision and development of M&E tools and performance monitoring systems.
• Provide evidence‑based data for clinical, operations and research meetings.

Required profile

• Experience in monitoring, evaluation and health information systems.
• Ability to work closely with clinical and community teams.
• Strong analytical mindset for data validation and reporting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the TB Hunter electronic data system.
• Data quality assurance and validation techniques.
• Report preparation and data visualization.
