Senior Advisor, Investment Climate and Private Sector Development

About the role

The Tony Blair Institute for Global Change is seeking a Senior Advisor to support the Government of Sierra Leone in strengthening its investment climate and attracting high‑quality private investment. Based in Freetown, you will work closely with senior government officials and key institutions to translate identified investment constraints into concrete reforms and facilitate priority investment opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the design and implementation of priority investment‑climate reforms.
• Support the government in identifying and prioritising the most significant investment constraints.
• Strengthen institutional capacity for investment facilitation and coordination across ministries.
• Assist in the development and execution of strategic investment projects.
• Provide hands‑on delivery support, ensuring reforms progress smoothly through multiple agencies.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and maintain momentum on cross‑institutional initiatives.

Required profile
