Solution Consultant - GRC

About the role

The Solution Consultant will partner with Workiva’s sales teams to provide pre‑sales expertise, develop and present technical solutions, and help customers understand the value of the Workiva platform for governance, risk and compliance (GRC) and reporting challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Engage customers, prospects and partners via phone, web or onsite meetings to drive discovery and map Workiva solutions to business needs.
• Deliver generic and targeted solution demonstrations covering financial reporting, SEC/Advanced reporting, management reporting and controls.
• Create example solutions, prototypes and proofs of concept to validate requirements and showcase value.
• Collaborate with Client Services to ensure smooth onboarding and long‑term customer success.
• Work with Product Marketing, Scoping, Customer Success and Sales to develop account plans and achieve company goals.
• Conduct process assessments, build business cases and may mentor peers on cross‑domain topics.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in pre‑sales, solution consulting, technical sales or SaaS implementation.
• Fluent in English and German.
• Experience presenting to business or IT managers and executives.
• Self‑motivated with strong results orientation.
