Finance Manager – Renewable Energy (Freetown)

About the role

Inuka is partnering with a renewable energy company in Sierra Leone to hire a Finance Manager based in Freetown. The role will lead the finance function, ensuring robust financial management, reporting, compliance and operational oversight for renewable energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily finance operations, reporting and reconciliations.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and treasury activities.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax and local regulatory requirements.
• Lead audits and coordinate with banks, regulators and external advisors.
• Strengthen financial controls and improve finance processes.
• Provide financial analysis support to commercial and project teams.
• Manage and develop the local finance team.
• Partner closely with regional leadership and group finance teams.

Required profile

• 7+ years of finance experience, including team leadership responsibilities.
• Qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure or related sectors preferred.
• Familiarity with Sierra Leone tax and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management abilities.
