Manager, Network Operations & Asset Performance

About the role

The Senior Network Operations Centre (NOC) Manager will lead 24x7x365 monitoring of CrossBoundary Energy’s own assets and selected client assets across Africa. The role ensures high power availability and optimal return on investment for hybrid renewable power systems delivered as Energy-as-a-Service.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage first‑line engineering support for CBE and client assets on a continuous basis.
• Serve as the single point of contact for client NOC leadership, handling issues that require joint CBE and client actions.
• Identify, negotiate, contract and train subcontractor resources to provide first‑line engineering support within client NOCs.
• Document, disseminate and continuously improve ticket‑resolution processes for first‑line engineering.
• Make decisions on incidents that need escalation to second‑ and third‑line support.
• Work closely with the Operations & Maintenance manager and other internal teams to align operational actions with financial outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a Network Operations Centre or similar 24x7 monitoring environment.
• Strong ability to coordinate with subcontractors, platform providers and client teams.
• Decision‑making skills for incident escalation and resolution.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
