About the role
The Nurse Anesthetist will lead the provision of anesthesia services at the Jojoima CEmONC Centre, a key facility in Partners In Health’s five‑year health‑system strengthening project in Sierra Leone. Reporting to the Facility Clinical Lead, the role supports comprehensive reproductive, maternal, neonatal, child and adolescent health services.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the provision of anesthesia services in the Jojoima health facility.
- Provide safe anesthesia for surgical and obstetric procedures within the CEmONC site.
- Maintain anesthesia equipment, ensure compliance with safety standards, and keep accurate clinical records.
- Collaborate with the Facility Clinical Lead and other clinical staff to integrate anesthesia care into broader health services.
Required profile
- Qualified Nurse Anesthetist with appropriate licensure.
- Experience working in low‑resource or humanitarian health settings is preferred.
