Remote Computer Vision Annotator

About the role

The Computer Vision Annotator will work remotely to create high‑quality labeled datasets that power computer‑vision and machine‑learning models. You will handle image and video data, ensuring precise annotations that improve model accuracy across tasks such as object detection, segmentation, and 3D perception.

Key responsibilities

• Draw accurate bounding boxes, polygons, polylines, key points, 3D cuboids and segment masks on visual data.
• Annotate point‑cloud and LiDAR data for autonomous‑vehicle and robotics applications.
• Interpret complex labeling taxonomies and refine guidelines with project managers and data scientists.
• Use advanced features of tools such as CVAT, Label Studio, 3D Slicer, and Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth.
• Identify ambiguous cases, edge cases and potential biases, and report findings to improve model robustness.
• Contribute to best‑practice documentation, workflow optimisation and training materials for new annotators.
• Assist with basic data preparation tasks like resizing images and synchronising timestamps.
• Track annotation KPIs (throughput, precision, recall) and participate in calibration sessions.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in data annotation or quality assurance for computer‑vision projects.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent, high‑accuracy output.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with global teams.
