Senior Associate – West Africa Advisory

About the role

CrossBoundary Advisory is seeking a Senior Associate to support its West Africa team, focusing on investment opportunities across the region. The role involves deep engagement with investors, capital seekers, and local partners to unlock private capital in underserved markets.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate investment opportunities and conduct macro‑economic market assessments.
• Provide transaction support to investors and capital seekers, including data quality checks and model reviews.
• Collaborate with private equity firms, development finance institutions, and development agencies.
• Organise conferences, in‑country roadshows and senior executive events.
• Deliver weekly progress updates to clients and monitor KPI achievement.
• Review operating models and pitch decks for accuracy and quality.
• Monitor technical assistance implementation by third‑party firms.

Required profile

• Extensive experience living and working in West Africa, with a thorough understanding of the regional investment landscape.
• Strong technical investment advisory skills and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent communication and client‑management capabilities.
• Ability to work under demanding conditions and adapt to differing stakeholder strategies.
