Software Engineer Annotator

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer Annotator to work remotely worldwide. In this role you will evaluate and label software‑engineering datasets that are used to train AI models and large language models, ensuring the data meets high standards of quality and relevance.

Key responsibilities

• Annotate and review software‑engineering datasets for AI training, including code completion, debugging, refactoring, and optimization tasks.
• Assess AI‑generated code for correctness, efficiency, readability, and security.
• Label datasets and provide structured feedback to improve model performance.
• Maintain adherence to annotation guidelines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with AI trainers, reviewers, and data teams to refine annotation processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
• 3–5 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
• Prior experience in data annotation, AI training, or code review.
• Strong programming background in Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, or Go.
• Solid understanding of software‑engineering principles, data structures, algorithms, and the software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with APIs, backend systems, and web technologies.
• Basic knowledge of AI, machine learning, or LLMs is a plus.
