Videographer Consultant – Promotional Videos for MSMEs

About the role

The International Trade Centre (ITC) is recruiting a Videographer Consultant to produce high-quality promotional videos for a selected group of 10 MSMEs in Sierra Leone, as part of its "Empowering youth through digital technologies" project (2024-2028). The work is home-based, based in Freetown, with travel within Sierra Leone to film the enterprises; the assignment lasts about 2.5 months and runs from November 2026 to January 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in briefing meetings with the project team and the MSMEs, and review each MSME's branding and communication objectives.
• Develop a filming plan and shooting schedule, and coordinate filming locations and materials.
• Produce one 2-3 minute promotional video per MSME, with a horizontal version for websites and presentations, a vertical version for social media, and subtitles where needed.
• Edit and finalize the videos, adding transitions, titles and subtitles, and incorporate feedback from MSMEs and the project team (up to two revisions per MSME).
• Deliver final files in formats suitable for digital communication and submit a summary report.
• Follow ITC's communication, visibility and multimedia guidelines, and obtain the necessary copyright permissions for third-party material.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in video production, media, communications, visual arts or a related field, or extensive relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 5 years of experience in commercial videography and video production.
• Experience producing promotional and brand storytelling videos, and working with SMEs and entrepreneurs.
• Desirable: experience on entrepreneurship or development programmes.
• A professional client portfolio must be submitted.
• Advanced English and Krio.
