Program Management Deputy Director, CDC C&T Sierra Leone

About the role

The Management Quality Deputy Director will lead financial, budgeting, supply chain, and operational functions for a $12 million annual HIV care and treatment program in Sierra Leone. Reporting to the Project Director, the role ensures compliance with donor and organizational policies while supporting the project’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee overall financial management, budgeting, and supply chain operations for a large‑scale health program.
• Interpret USG and other donor regulations, provide compliance guidance, and conduct internal control assessments.
• Develop and deliver training curricula on compliance, financial reviews, and grant management.
• Supervise, mentor, and build capacity of Finance and Compliance staff.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for grant management and compliance with treatment facilities and regional finance teams.
• Collaborate with World Vision Sierra Leone Operations Unit and senior project team members.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing large‑scale health or development programs, preferably with donor‑funded budgets.
• Strong knowledge of USG, CDC, and other donor compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead finance and compliance teams and to develop training materials.
• Commitment to the organization’s Christian values and ability to participate in spiritual activities.
