Instrumentation & Control Maintenance Supervisor (O&M)

About the role

Siemens Energy is looking for an Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Maintenance Supervisor to lead and coordinate the maintenance, troubleshooting and optimisation of the plant's instrumentation, control, automation and Distributed Control System (DCS) infrastructure. The role provides technical leadership to I&C engineers and technicians and supports maintenance planning, execution and continuous improvement so that plant systems run safely, reliably and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Lead preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance of plant instrumentation and control systems in line with established maintenance plans
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty I&C equipment and control systems, and coordinate corrective actions
• Support the maintenance and optimisation of instrumentation, automation and DCS infrastructure
• Supervise and coach I&C engineers and technicians, coordinate daily maintenance and ensure work follows priorities, schedules and technical standards
• Ensure compliance with plant HSE requirements and the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system, and escalate safety and operational risks
• Use plant maintenance management systems to report faults, document activities and request materials, and monitor recurring issues

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Automation & Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience may be considered
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in I&C, automation or controls maintenance in power generation, industrial plants or comparable heavy industries
• Proven experience supervising I&C engineers and technicians and working in structured PTW environments
• Power generation or power plant O&M experience strongly preferred
• Professional working proficiency in English

Required skills

• I&C, DCS, PLC and automation systems, field instrumentation, sensors, transmitters, control valves and actuators
• Preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance, fault diagnosis and troubleshooting
• Maintenance management systems (CMMS), maintenance planning and execution, PTW, technical reporting
• Microsoft Office
• Certifications in I&C, electrical, automation or plant maintenance are an advantage
