Export Coordinator – Logistics

About the role

We are seeking an Export Coordinator to manage the export of goods to international destinations. The role involves coordinating logistics, handling shipping documentation, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations while working closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process export documentation such as Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and warehouses to schedule shipments and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Monitor shipment progress, provide updates to customers and stakeholders, and resolve any customs or clearance issues.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding export shipments, including schedule changes and delays.
• Track inventory levels, ensure export orders are ready for shipment, and maintain organized records for auditing.
• Control shipping costs by sourcing competitive freight rates and identifying cost‑saving opportunities.
• Stay informed about changes in export regulations and ensure company compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in export coordination, logistics or shipping.
• Strong understanding of export regulations, customs procedures, Incoterms and international trade agreements.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
