OCONUS Superintendent

About the role

The OCONUS Superintendent will supervise daily construction activities at an overseas site, reporting directly to the On‑Site Project Manager. This role involves overseeing multiple minor projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficient crew performance.

Key responsibilities

• Directly supervise and coordinate numerous minor construction projects and crews.
• Review and verify crew time sheets, submit payroll, and manage employee and job costing issues.
• Ensure safety and incident reporting procedures are followed and communicate issues to management.
• Coordinate subcontract work for all trades assigned to the project.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED required; 5‑10 years of related construction experience.
• Experience in multiple trades, overseas and government construction projects, and supervisory roles.
• U.S. citizenship with Secret clearance; ability to obtain/maintain TS clearance.
• Ability to read and apply information from blueprints, surveys, and job specifications.

Required skills

• Forklift operation license.
• Skid steer operation license.
• OSHA 30 training.
• Reading and interpreting construction blueprints.
