About the role
NTU International is seeking a Senior Corridor Management Authority Expert to support the EU‑funded “Technical Assistance to ECOWAS in Transport Governance” project. The role will focus on establishing and operationalising Corridor Management Authorities across West African transport corridors, enhancing governance, coordination and performance monitoring.
Key responsibilities
- Support the set‑up and operationalisation of Corridor Management Authorities (CMAs) for regional transport corridors.
- Provide technical assistance on corridor governance frameworks, institutional arrangements and standard operating procedures.
- Develop mandates, governance structures, SOPs and coordination protocols for CMAs.
- Facilitate coordination among ECOWAS institutions, national authorities, corridor stakeholders and development partners.
- Design and implement corridor performance monitoring systems and management tools.
- Advise on logistics coordination, multimodal connectivity and transport facilitation initiatives.
- Lead stakeholder consultations, inter‑agency coordination mechanisms and regional policy dialogue.
- Prepare technical reports, operational frameworks, governance assessments and strategic recommendations.
- Deliver capacity‑building workshops and technical training on corridor management and transport governance.
- Support monitoring, reporting and evaluation of corridor governance activities.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in transport planning, logistics, public administration, infrastructure management, economics or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in corridor management, transport governance or regional infrastructure coordination.
- At least 7 years of experience specifically in corridor governance, transport facilitation or institutional coordination.
- Proven experience on transport or regional integration projects in developing countries, preferably in Sub‑Saharan Africa.
- Experience with international development cooperation and donor‑funded programmes.
