About the role
NTU International is seeking a Senior Corridor Performance Observatory Expert to lead the development, management, and operationalisation of Corridor Performance Observatories across the ECOWAS region. The role supports EU‑funded technical assistance aimed at improving transport governance, corridor efficiency, and regional connectivity in West Africa.
Key responsibilities
- Establish and operationalise regional and national Corridor Performance Observatories.
- Provide technical assistance on corridor performance monitoring systems, logistics indicators, and transport analytics methodologies.
- Develop harmonised data‑collection methodologies and performance frameworks.
- Advise on digital dashboards, observatory platforms, and real‑time corridor monitoring systems.
- Ensure interoperability between national observatories and regional monitoring platforms.
- Prepare performance reports, analytical studies, and logistics assessments.
- Monitor key indicators such as border crossing times, transport costs, infrastructure conditions, and logistics efficiency.
- Coordinate with ECOWAS institutions, customs authorities, transport agencies, corridor stakeholders, and development partners.
- Deliver workshops, training sessions, and capacity‑building activities.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in transport economics, logistics, data analytics, information systems, transport planning or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in corridor performance monitoring, logistics analysis, transport observatories or infrastructure data systems.
- At least 7 years of experience specifically in corridor observatories, transport monitoring systems, or logistics analytics.
- Proven experience in transport, logistics or regional integration projects in developing countries, preferably Sub‑Saharan Africa.
- Experience with international development cooperation and donor‑funded programmes.
