Supply Chain Coordinator

About the role

World Vision is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator on a fixed‑term basis to manage the end‑to‑end supply chain process for its programmes. The role supports timely delivery of goods and services, ensuring compliance with World Vision procedures and contributing to the achievement of child well‑being outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Understand departmental business requirements and translate them into daily supply‑chain actions.
• Advise internal customers on request modifications and facilitate timely issue resolution.
• Identify alternative supply sources and coordinate with Logistics for safe delivery and receipt of materials.
• Execute market assessments, supplier pre‑qualification, and manage RFQ/RFP processes for assigned categories.
• Lead negotiations, prepare procurement committee submissions, and facilitate purchasing committee meetings.
• Maintain supplier contracts, monitor performance, and handle contract renewals or retenders.
• Process purchase requisitions, verify specifications, award suppliers, and manage purchase order changes.

Required profile

• Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply‑chain functions, preferably in humanitarian or development settings.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders.

Required skills

• Knowledge of procurement policies, RFQ/RFP procedures, and supplier contract management.
• Familiarity with market assessment and supplier pre‑qualification processes.
