Deputy Team Leader / Coordinator - Infrastructure Feasibility Study

About the role

SMEC, a transport and energy infrastructure design and engineering firm, is looking for an experienced Deputy Team Leader / Coordinator to support the delivery of a Feasibility Study (FS) for an infrastructure project in the Solomon Islands. The successful candidate will work closely with the Team Leader and multidisciplinary technical specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities, stakeholder consultations, technical inputs and field investigations
• Prepare key feasibility study deliverables
• Work with the Team Leader and technical specialists on the feasibility study

Required profile

• University degree in civil or highway engineering, economics or another related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IFI-funded transport projects, including ADB, on a similar assignment (coordination with relevant government agencies and project document recording)
• Fluent writing and speaking English is mandatory
